Dr. Eimiel Garriga

Dr. Garriga completed his undergraduate work at the University of Florida, then attended Ross University for veterinary school.  He graduated from Ross University in 2004.  His interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, soft tissue and orthoperdic surgery and therapeutic laser therapy.  When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Dr. Morgan Vargo

Dr. Vargo graduated from the University of Florida in 2011, and has been working at Riverview Veterinary Hospital since her graduation.  Before and while applying to veterinary school, she also worked at the hospital as a veterinary assistant!  She says the family atmosphere at this clinic and their dedication to their clients and pets brought her back after graduation.  Her current interests in veterinary medicine include dentistry, emergency work and managing internal medicine cases.  She is also in the process of becoming a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (expected to complete in fall 2015).  Outside of her job, she enjoys running and spending time with her family (fur family and human family!)

Gaby, Client Service Representative Leader

Gaby was born and raised in Florida. She has two amazing sons with whom she loves spending time with and sharing the love of animals. Growing up, Gaby was not allowed to have any pets. Now that she is older, she ensures her sons learn the love and respect for all types of animals. They enjoy spending time with their yellow lab, Cezario. He is truly a part of the family. Gaby's family also feeds a stray cat who we have affectionately named Whiskers. She comes and goes as she pleases, but is always welcome to pop up at any time for food, water, and love. Gaby has been with Riverview Veterinary Hospital for over 2 years and loves the staff and pets come to see us for continued care.

Shellby, Veterinary Technician

Shellby is a little West Coast meets the South. Born and raised in California, she then spent several years in Tennesee. Shellby relocated to Florida and began with Riverview Veterinary Hospital in April 2014. Shellby has spent her entire life surrounded by the love or animals thanks to her rancher father and her mother who is also a Veterinary Technician and mentor. Being in the veterinary field has brought Shellby her beloved feline rescues, Stitch the three-legged wonder and his sidekick, Lilo. She also has Savannah, a beautiful 85 pound poodle mix. Being a Veterinary Technician is literally living the dream for Shellby.  She always aspired to work in the animal health industry beginnig her journey in 2013. Shellby's goal is to eventually perform missionary veterinary care overseas. All of Shellby's aspirations are inspired by the light of her life, her three year old son who is watching, learning, and hopefully being inspired by his Mom. She wants to show him all his dreams are possible with the passion and courage to pursue them.

Claudia, Veterinary Technician

Claudia, a graduate of HCC's Veterinary Technology, was born in Chicago, IL. She moved to Florida in 2001 and has been here ever since. Claudia always had pets growing up and currently has a guinea pig, Squeakers, 2 sugar gliders - Rocky and Swoop, and two dogs named Pebbles and Lili. Claudia loves reading horror and fantasy novels and playing video games. Her favorite RPG is Xenoblade Chronicles. Claudia is drawn to the veterinary field due to her desire to keep pets happy and healthy.

Alejandra, Veterinary Technician

Alejandra is a full time mommy to a rambunctious 11 month old and three fur children who also tend to keep her busy. She was raised in Northern Virginia and moved to the Tampa Bay Area with her husband in 2015 shortly after they tied the knot. They were newlyweds with no kids other than their boxer and two cats and wanted to try planting their roots in a much warmer state. And they are so glad they did! Alejandra begin working as an unlicensed Vet Tech in Vienna, VA and has fallen in love with the animal health care field ever since. 
She enjoys spending time with her family, hosting parties, and overall enjoying life to the fullest!
