Dr. Morgan Vargo
Dr. Morgan Vargo has been an associate veterinarian at our practice since her graduation from veterinary school in 2011. She attended University of South Florida for her undergraduate degree in Biology, then attended University of Florida for Veterinary School. Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Vargo served as a veterinary assistant with our practice beginning in 2003, but always planned to attend veterinary school, as being a veterinarian has been a lifelong passion.
Dr. Vargo originally wanted to be a veterinarian because she loved the idea of working with animals, but since becoming a veterinarian she has also discovered she loves helping and teaching people. She finds great job satisfaction in figuring out medical puzzles and helping people work out the optimal treatment protocol for their pets and their personal needs. Her primary interests inside veterinary medicine include internal medicine, chronic disease management and pain management. To this end, Dr. Vargo is also a certified veterinary acupuncturist.
Outside of the office, Dr. Vargo enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She has 2 dogs at home, an elderly black lab named Firefly and a German Shorthaired Pointer named Dax. In her free time, she is a competitive distance runner and is active in her church.
